VILLANS BLOW UP CHELSEA

Chelsea suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Aston Villa at Villa Park. Martin O'Niel has a wonderful record against Mourinho's men , Aston Villa has never lost to Chelsea under the management of O'Niel and Villa have been successful in keeping their record of never losing to Chelsea in their home.
Aston Villa never looked to test Cech in the first half. Even with the presence of the Norwegian striker John Carew never really mattered them because Chelsea had its debutant Alex and captain Terry at the defense. All were going according to plan for the glory hunters until 47 minutes when Zak Knight scored his first goal for Aston Villa in his debut game. And the tide turned towards the home side. After that Chelsea were attacking in all cylinders but in the dying moments of the game Ashley Young delivered a delightful ball to Gabriel Agbonlahor and he finished of in style. The absence of the charismatic Frank Lampard surely felt by Chelsea.

RESULT:

ASTON VILLA 2 - 0 CHELSEA

SCORERS:

ZAK KNIGHT
GABRIEL AGBONLAHOR
