Manchester United breaks through Bolton's Defense

Old Trafford, The visiting team Bolton were vary of United current form and so they put up a 4-5-1 formation but that was of no use as United started scoring freely. They opened the score sheet at the 19th minute courtesy of Park's goal. The South Korean International then added two more goals under his belt and Wayne Rooney too had a pair of goals at the end of the match. United scored three goals in the half time.
Christiano Ronaldo was spectacular in the game as he made way for two goals. He was eventually substituted and Alan Smith too made way for a goal for Rooney. But dubious decision from the refree gave a Bolton a penalty and Gary Speed scored for the visitors but it was too late for the visitors as United already had a three goal advantage.

Scores :

Manchester United 4 - 1 Bolton Wanderers

Scorers:

Park Ji Sung - 2 goals Gary Speed - 1 goal
Wayne Rooney - 2 goals
